Made Code Painter · Claude Opus 5.5

Films painted in code.

Describe a film. Claude Opus 5.5 directs it, then writes the program that paints every frame, scene by scene. No image or video models: just code drawing every brushstroke.

Live: this is a program painting in your browser, not a video
Painted live

Every film is a small program that runs in your browser. Scrub it, loop it, pause on any frame.

Sharp at 4K

Export repaints every frame at full size, so an MP4 at 720p, 1080p or 4K is crisp. Exports are free.

Change anything

Ask for a slower camera, a new color or a different ending. The painter edits the code; nothing is regenerated from scratch.

Painted by Claude

Each film below is the program Claude Opus 5.5 wrote from the prompt under it, joined from scenes it painted in parallel. Open one to watch it run, scrub it, export it, or change it.

1

Claude directs

Your idea becomes a brief: a title, a palette, the look every scene shares, and a list of scenes with their shots, action and hand-offs.

2

Every scene is painted at once

Each scene is written by its own call to Claude, in parallel, as a program that paints it frame by frame. Made joins them into one film that starts playing while the rest arrive.

3

Direct the cut

Ask for changes in plain words and Claude edits the code. When it’s right, export an MP4 at up to 4K, or download the program itself.

Questions

Is this made with an image or video model?

No. Claude Opus 5.5 writes JavaScript that draws every frame on a canvas: the washes, strokes, light, type and camera moves are all code. Nothing is generated as pixels by a model, and there is no stock footage.

How long does a film take?

About a minute for most films. Claude writes a brief first, then paints all the scenes at the same time, and finished scenes play as soon as they land.

What does it cost?

Credits, for the tokens Claude uses. The Paint button shows an estimate before you start, your receipt shows the real amount, and calls that fail aren’t charged. Watching, scrubbing and exporting are free.

Can I change a film after it’s painted?

Yes. Tell the painter what to change, like a slower camera, a warmer palette or a new ending, and it edits the program rather than starting over. If a scene breaks, the first two automatic fixes are free.

What can I export?

An MP4 at 720p, 1080p or 4K, at 30 or 60 frames per second. Every frame is painted again at the export size, so text and linework stay sharp. You can also copy or download the JavaScript.

Which models can paint?

Claude Opus 5.5, Anthropic’s newest Opus, paints by default. Claude Sonnet 5 is there for faster, cheaper sketches.

Is it safe to open someone else’s film?

Films run in a locked sandbox: no network, no access to your account, cookies or the rest of the page. A film that hangs is stopped automatically.
