Turn your photos into a video slideshow

What it does

Input
2 to 20 uploaded photos
Output
MP4 video (H.264), 1920 × 1080 at 30fps by default
How it works
Made renders the slideshow with FFmpeg: each photo is scaled to fit the frame with black letterboxing where the aspect ratio differs, and slide changes use crossfade-style transitions you select. AI is used to interpret your request, not to alter the photos.
Access
Set up the request on this page. You sign in to run it, and each run is priced in credits before you start.

Questions about AI Slideshow Maker

How many photos can the AI slideshow maker use?

Each slideshow uses between 2 and 20 photos. They appear in the order you provide, with a transition between every pair of slides.

Can I add music to the slideshow?

Not in the published workflow — the rendered MP4 has no audio track. Download the silent video and add a soundtrack in your editing app or directly in the platform you post to, most of which offer licensed music.

Which transitions are available?

There are 23 effects: fade, fade to black, fade to white, four slide directions, four wipe directions, dissolve, pixelize, radial, zoom in, four smooth directions, and four diagonal sweeps.

Can each slide use a different transition?

Yes. You can set one transition for the whole slideshow or list a different effect for each slide change. If your list is shorter than the number of changes, the last effect repeats for the rest.

What resolution and format is the output?

An H.264 MP4 at 1920 × 1080 and 30fps by default. You can request other dimensions up to 3840 × 2160 and frame rates from 15 to 60fps.

What happens if my photos have different aspect ratios?

Every photo is scaled to fit inside the video frame without cropping or stretching, and any leftover space is filled with black letterboxing. For edge-to-edge slides, crop or resize the photos to the video’s aspect ratio first with Image Resizer.

How long can each slide stay on screen?

From 1 to 30 seconds per slide, with 3 seconds as the default. Transitions add 0.5 to 5 seconds between slides, so total length is roughly the slide count times the slide duration.
